As a top-100 firm, it recruited from the best law schools in the nation, always attracting high caliber students to take part in its 10-week summer associate program. Unfortunately, some of the students accepted job offers only to leave after a few years. This was a time-intensive and costly effort that needed to produce better long-term results.
The firm decided to change the way firms, clients, law schools, and students thought about associate recruitment and training.
Their answer was a special program that aimed to pair the best law students with some of the most experienced litigators in the country.
